BLE Tracker (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is a mobile application designed to scan BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) devices and update asset locations when a mapped BLE tag is detected. We take user privacy seriously and ensure that no unnecessary personal data is collected or stored.

1. Information We Collect

No personal information such as name, email, phone number, address, photos, or contacts is collected by this application.

The app only accesses:

• Bluetooth – to scan for nearby BLE devices.
• Location – required by Android to perform BLE scanning and to update asset location when a BLE tag is detected.

The app does not collect or store your exact personal location. Location data is only used temporarily within the app logic to update the mapped asset's coordinates.

2. How We Use Data

Data accessed by the app is used strictly for:

• Scanning nearby BLE tags
• Identifying mapped BLE devices
• Updating the location of assets when their BLE tag is found

No data is sold, shared, or used for advertising.

3. Data Storage & Security

We do not store user personal data on any server.

Asset location updates (only when a BLE tag is detected) may be sent to your organization’s server—only if your app configuration/server API requires it.

No user identity information is linked to this data.

4. Third-Party Services

The app does not use third-party analytics, advertising services, or SDKs that collect user data.

5. Permissions Used

• Bluetooth / BLE – To scan BLE devices.
• Location – Required by Android for BLE scanning & asset location updates.
• Foreground Service – To run BLE scanning when app is in background (if enabled).

6. Children’s Privacy

The app does not collect any data from children. It is safe for all age groups.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy if needed. The updated version will be available on the same link.
